Overview

Clay County Government is seeking applicants for a full-time position at the Clay County Health Department. The primary purpose of this position is to be provide support to individuals, and their families, with substance use disorders, make referrals to community resources for social needs, mental/behavioral health, and physical health care. This person must work collaboratively with other departments, like Social Services and the local sheriff's office to assist those persons in seeking and receiving care and linking them with other resources/services based of of need and availability.

Graduation from high school with Peer Support Specialist certification, previous harm reduction or peer support services preferred, must be able to work under pressure and can multitask, have excellent communication skills and a current driver's license.
