Emergency Medical Technician
Clay County Emergency Medical Services is seeking applicants for a full time Emergency Medical Technician. Applicant must have a certification from the State of NC as a Paramedic Level Emergency Medical Technician and a valid driver's license. Shift hours are required and includes nights, weekends and holidays. The purpose of this position is to provide advanced paramedic level life support and emergency medical care to patients at an accident or illness scene and during transport. Duties include but are not limited to: Administer paramedic level of life support techniques and procedures based on patient assessment, ability to draw blood, administer approved medications, initiating intravenous fluids, performing pulmonary ventilation and other related duties as assigned. Grade 12, $16.68 per hour. This is a non-exempt positions.
The purpose of this position is to answer incoming calls and direct them to the correct department. Duties include but are not limited to keeping detailed logs of all calls, run checks in the Department of Criminal Information, NCAware, be the primary contact for Cell Phone providers for tracking and location on cell phone devices in times of search and rescues and other duties assigned by the Director.
Senior Center Manager
This position will be responsible for the daily operations of the Senior Center and other activities set forth in the job description for this position. The applicant must have a passion for working with older adults. The responsibilities include but not limited to planning, organizing and implementation of services designed for older adults. The expectation for this position is to work with the Director of Health and Human Services, other providers, and the region on Aging Administration in making sure to meet county, state and accreditation standards. The Senior Center Manager reports to the Director of Health and Human Services or her designee. A four degree in Human Services is preferred. Social Worker III for Foster Care Licensing and Adoptions Services
A Master degree in Social Work or a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with 1 year of directly related experience or a 4-year degree with 3 years of directly related experience will be accepted.
