Income Maintenance Supervisor III (FNS/Energy/Child Support)

Nutrition Services, Low Income Energy Assistance, Crisis Intervention Program,
Program Integrity, and Child Support.

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the following: Food and Nutrition Services, Low Income Energy Assistance, Crisis Intervention Program, Program Integrity, and Child Support. The supervisor of an income maintenance

program is involved with all eligibility functions (i.e., intake, processing, review). The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that staff adheres to Federal and State standards with regard to the quality of work required in processing income

maintenance cases. This position requires considerable knowledge of all income maintenance programs, forms, and documents used in determining eligibility. This position requires the ability to instruct, organize, direct, and supervise employees,

as well as the ability to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, applicants, and community agencies to obtain pertinent data and to interpret rules and regulations. Two years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an income maintenance program, preferably with one year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
