This is a floater position and the person chosen for this position will be working dayshift and nightshift at the discretion of the 911 Director to fill in as needed for shift vacancies. This position will answer incoming calls and direct them to the correct department, must keep detailed logs of all calls, run check in the Department of Criminal Information, NCAware, be primary contact for cell phone providers for tracking and location on cell phone devices in times of search and rescues. The position requires the use of computers, learning the street system and geography of Clay County, ability to speak with a clear, well-

modulated voice; ability to make quick and accurate decisions; effective communication skills; ability to deal courteously and diplomatically with the public. Other duties as assigned.
